What You Don't Know Can Hurt You: Ethics 101 & Beyond - FULL

CEU Training

$150.00

Clinicians often violate their ethics because they are simply unaware when they are operating in a "grey zone" and are using their personal ethics as their moral compass and not their professional ethics when treating patients. Their lack of awareness often results in conflicts at their workplace and in severe cases results in disciplinary actions from the Board of Professional Counselors. This 1-Day workshop will provide you with the tools to function within your ethics and to have a working knowledge of what you should do in every clinical setting.

In this workshop we will delve into specific disciplinary cases and examine common ethical pitfalls and mistakes made by Clinicians.

Workshop Learning Objectives:

  1. Attendess will learn how to apply Ethical Codes for Addictions Counselors, Marriage/Family Therapist, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors.
  2. Attendees will examine real disciplinary cases and will learn how to recognize high risk behaviors that result in Ethical violations.
  3. Attendees will be able to learn how their personal and moral ethics impact their ability to apply consistently their professional ethics.
