Is now forming a Summer Intensive Clinical Supervision Group for 6 Clinicians who are interested in receiving Clinical training, case reviews and learning evidence-based therapies on improving treatment outcomes.

Group will begin on June 1, 2019 and will meet on the first Saturday of each month until August 3, 2019. With the exception on the July date we will meet on July 13, 2019. Attendees will earn 7 ½ CEU’s in Category A. If interested in learning more, please visit us at .


Microtrauma and the African American Client

 In this workshop attendees will explore micro-trauma and the African American client within the historical context of Slavery and the recent televised events that have triggered an escalation of post-trauma stress symptoms.

Workshop Learning Objectives: 

  1. Teach attendees how micro-trauma impact the psycho-social development of African Americans from a historical perspective. 
  2. Attendees will learn to identify how micro-trauma experienced vicariously on TV or directly manifest in reactive behaviors of distrust, marked feelings of anxiety, excessive worrying about safety, vulnerability and loss of human rights. 
  3. Teach trauma techniques to effectively treat the African American client trauma.
